Students will be immersed in our city’s past as they practice their map-reading skills to lead us to the treasure at the end of the tour! We will look at why people lived near this river, how people used this land and how daily life has changed over time.

Students will learn about who lived here, why they lived here and how they impacted our culture, our land and our laws. The beginning of the Industrial Revolution, the debate over slavery, the growth of America will all be explored through the events and lifestyle of 19th century New Orleans.

For large groups of kids: we break kids into smaller groups and rotate groups through activities:
(Example schedule for 75 kids. Length, start times and group sizes are flexible.)
