From 6 - 8 pm Saturday May 10th, French Quartour Kids will join many others in celebrating and speaking about our fragile wetlands. The rapid disappearance of surrounding wetlands, from salt water intrusion and lack of natural rebuilding, puts us all at risk. There are events happening all over the Bywater and Marigny. For more information, visit their website.
Galleries will open up. Movies will be showing. Speakers are lined up. It's time to take action and that begins with awareness and conversation.
Kids can join the action in Clouet Gardens Saturday night. While music plays and parents relax, kids will have the opportunity to use materials from the surrounding swamps to make their own Wetlands Warrior, while learning about coastal erosion.
Clouet Gardens is on Clouet Street, between Royal Street and Dauphine St. Hope to see you there!!! (If we do see you, you'll get a $10 discount coupon for your next tour with French Quartour Kids!)
