On this 90 minute walk in the park, kids learn about the fragile ecosystem surrounding New Orleans. They’ll find out how oak trees hang on for centuries, despite floods and hurricanes. They’ll discover – and USE – animal adaptations that make birds, reptiles, and mammals perfectly suited for this environment. Kids will explore how early humans first lived off this land- fighting off mosquitoes, frequent floods, and, of course, the heat. There are plenty of goodies for kids to take away!!
