There is 2 hour street parking throughout the French Quarter. You do need to pay for street parking; it's pretty cheap though. Keep an eye out for no parking signs; we have street cleaning in the morning on different days depending on the street. Cars must be parked at least 10 feet away from the corner. New Orleans has aggressive tow trucks looking for unsuspecting cars to tow.
We have free street parking in the neighborhoods surrounding the French Quarter: the Marigny, Bywater, and Treme.
We do have parking lots surrounding the French Quarter on the bordering streets: Rampart Street, Elysian Fields Ave, and Decatur Street. Decatur Street has plenty of parking lots, especially closer to Canal Street. The parking lot that is closest to our meeting spot is accessible on Decatur Street and St. Peter Street, across from Jackson Square.
