Let our teachers lead your students through the French Quarter- from the perspective of pirates! They'll learn about natural resources, trade, colonial changes- and of course our pirate history!

Students will learn about who lived here, why they lived here and how they impacted our culture, our land and our laws. The beginning of the Industrial Revolution, the debate over slavery, the growth of America will all be explored through the events and lifestyle of 19th century New Orleans.

Upper Elementary Empire Building! Louisiana standards are now focusing on Ancient Civilizations- and we're here to help! We'll make it relevant and fun for your class. This field trip takes place in Audubon Park, uptown New Orleans.

Just as Middle School is a transitional time in a child's life, the 19th century saw much change in our city and beyond. This field trip focuses on these changes: what happened, why it happened and how it impacted life for New Orleanians. By focusing on our city, we're able to view our country's history on a more personal level.
