K - 2nd Grade:
Treasure the Past

On this exciting field trip, we'll greet your students across from Jackson Square and try to determine where we are and why a city was built here! Students will activate prior knowledge about the climate, landforms, and waterways and then explore how - and why- humans adapted to- and modified- the waterways. They'll encounter something left behind that will guide them on their adventure- ending with a sweet treasure! The field trip is interactive, educational, silly- with a bit of dress up and reenacting the past.
